A portfolio of artworks by Kirsty Whitrow
Murals & Artworks for Hospitals
Leicester Royal Infirmary Children’s Accident & Emergency Department
Kirsty was commissioned to create several artworks for the Plaster Bay and the waiting areas in the A & E department for children and young people. The trees, butterflies and dragonfly are painted onto plywood and fixed to the wall allowing their safe removal for re-decorating purposes.
We chose the theme of Trees from around the world to reflect the multicultural entity of Leicester, also symbolizing growth, health, and well being. They are hopefully visually pleasing to all ages, and timeless.
